ABUS protects high-tech gas cylinder manufacturer

From life jackets and fire extinguishers to smoke and heat extraction systems: LBM Techno Gas is a company which boasts a wide range of safety-related products. Since 1987, the company has produced disposable gas cylinders and capsules for use in the area of life-saving technology, amongst others. Completed in 2017, the company's new headquarters in Langenfeld, Germany has been equipped with ABUS’ wAppLoxx access control system and video surveillance cameras in line with the highest security standards.

Security right from the start

• LBM placed an emphasis on security already during the construction phase 
• LBM employed the services of a long-time partner in the neighbouring region: namely, family-run business, Herbertz Sicherheitstechnik

Making full use of ABUS video surveillance

• Numerous ABUS IP cameras have been installed at the premises: at the entrance area, on the building's exterior and in the stairwell
• Cameras record footage with the help of a digital recorder
• In future, it is planned to connect an ABUS IP camera to the intercom at the entrance door 

The perfect addition: wAppLoxx access control

• Extensive use of wAppLoxx, ABUS' electronic access control system
• Two independent alarmed areas within which access authorisations can be assigned individually
• Around 30 locking cylinders and approximately 40 transponders are in use every day - the largest wAppLoxx project carried out by Herbertz Sicherheitstechnik to date
• Innovative customised solutions featuring specially adapted electronic ABUS cylinders
