The Sagrada Família is a Catholic basilica designed by Antoni Gaudí and located in Barcelona, Spain. Construction began in 1882 and is ongoing to this day. It is Gaudí's masterpiece and the perfect example of modernist Catalan architecture. The Sagrada Família is one of the most visited monuments in Spain alongside the Prado Museum in Madrid and the Alhambra in Granada, and is the second most visited church in Europe after St Peter’s in the Vatican City.
